To run 3800 meters is for a marathon runner really just a warm up. You think so! At the Pohorje mountain run there are 725 meters altitude between Start and Finish, and can really draw on one's resources. This bitter experience has been made particularly by our runners of the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team.

Even Praban Felgitscher, who holds a personal best of 2:34:14 in the marathon, had a hard fight. It took him full 27 minutes and 8 seconds to accomplish this 3800 meters. Though herewith he arrived third in the overall ranking and second in his category. The winner was the Slovenian mountain run specialist Igor Salamun.

Among the womans the Slovenian Domen Zupan won. Best Austrian was Ghantika Hammerl from Graz in 42:56.

Other results of our Team:

Andreas Tscherne 0:35:31

Martin Leitner 0:37:03

Tatjana Jauk 0:40:40

Dipavajan Renner 0:42:28

Praban commentary says everything: "The race was brutal, it was one of the hardest tracks I ever run."
